We would just like to thank all the Laser Hair Removal clients that have attended the Treatment Room in Blackburn, Lancashire over the last 5 years. In 2004 we bought in the Lumenis Quantum IPL system and have found this to work well on our paler asian clients and caucasian clients. In December 2009, we are happy to announce we will be the first in the North West to bring in the Lumenis Lightsheer Duet. The Lightsheer Duet has a dual head system which will allow us to treat larger areas in a shorter space of time. The high speed head also has a vacuum which will allow minimal discomfort to our clients. A back can be lasered within 20 minutes in comparison to an IPL system which can take up to 2 hours. Lumenis Quantum IPL has a fluence range of 645-755nm, great for caucasian and paler asian skin types. Lumenis Lighsheer Duet has an 800nm wavelength, good for darker asian skin types and tanned skins. The longer 800nm wavelenght will heat up less melanin within the epidermis and therefore less of a chance of hyperpigmentation of the skin. Our prices are very competitive and we will be happy to match and discount other Lightsheer systems arounds. After 4 years of registration with the Healthcare Commission, we will shortly be updating our protocols for the Care Quality Commission.
